The halls are decked and just in time. We had a visitor drop in this morning, Fred Frisbee, "The Elf on the Shelf".
He left a book under the Christmas tree explaining in rhymes, his purpose. He comes during the holiday season to watch and take notes of the kids behavior. After the kids are asleep each night, he flies back to Santa to report. He then flies back in time to find his "spot" for the day before the kids awake. It is their job each morning to find Fred's perch. The only rule, is you're not aloud to touch Fred. His magic may disappear and he wouldn't be able to report back to Santa. The kids are very excited about our new holiday visitor and have little chats with him frequently.
