Birthday Dinner

Here's everyone hangin with me for my birthday, just saying hey and eating pasta and pizza. Doesn't get any better than that. Here I am making a new fashen statement with my bithday gift.

Birthday Ride

Hey,hey, turned another year older and was able to take an afternoon off and Lori had the day off.So what did we do with a beautiful afternoon, we got on our bikes to 'riiide'! We rode south and back west though the Flint Hills and chased through some small towns. The weather was perfect and the hills were beautiful.

Summer Biking

It was finally warm enough to go on a ride!!! We went on a 6 hour bike ride with my folks and some of our friends. It was a gorgeous day and we had so much fun! The last 2 pictures may seem out of place! My mom is in charge of girls camp for her ward this year, so we stopped at the girls camp to check it out. They had a really big slide there, so we went down a few times!! This was the place I went to girls camp my first year, so it was kind of fun to see it again! We had a great day and it was so good to be on the bikes again!!

Monkeyin' Around

We've been monkeyin' around too much to blog. Thought we'd post so you'd know we're alive. Here's evidence of our monkey (ape) encounters on the Rock of Gibraltar. They were everywhere. Hanging off car side mirrors, stealing ice cream sandwiches, and hopping on unsuspecting tourist shoulders for a good pic. The mother with her baby was so sweet, and surprisingly calm (much calmer than Cohen was). We were only about 4 feet away, but she didn't seem to mind.

Baseball

We went over to our church to play football the other night. The kids had a great time, and in between chasing all the balls in the outfield, I got to snap a few pictures! My family is great!!

Hiking

Our family went on a hike nearby our house. It is a really pretty hike, if you stay clear of the rattlesnakes! There is even a warning sign at the head of the trail! It was a lot of fun and a beautiful area to hike in!

Somehow it seems that Blaine always gets lost in the shuffle of Mother's Day. He is a good sport about it though. The girls have made him a special shirt and a chocolate cake to help him celebrate!

Greetings from Tacoma

Aaron and I went waterfall hunting last weekend. The first one that we found was impressive (I got dizzy) but wasn't as photogenic as this one. This one drops 120 feet and as it is so beautiful, I thought I'd share it.


Our little Bailey just got a life jacket. Willie loves to wear his life jacket but Bailey isn't sure what to think. I can't say I'm terribly surprised as Willie loves to play dress up (he knows he looks good and starts strutting around) and Bailey just tolerates it.

In other news . . . we just heard from our adoption agency that our paperwork has been forwarded to the Cundinamarca Department of Colombia and so we might have our child in a couple of months. Yeah!

I haven't talked to most of you in a long time, but I do think of you and hope you all are well.
