Not for the Queasy Stomache - Tucker's Stitches

You probably can't really see any of the Gore, so, it's really not that queasy unless you're up really close, or looking inside at the bone. This is Tuckers first stitches.

We were on our way home from camping and decided to stop at the park in Sedro Wooley, stretch our legs and have some lunch.

Jamie was spinning Sydne and she went flying off this Merry go round thing, and Tucker was running over to see the damage, and as he arrived, he tripped, right into the pole that Sydne flew off of. Lots of Blood and 3 hours at the hospital made for a much longer Sunday afternoon than we'd planned on. Needless to say, Tucker now has his first stitches, and will have have his First "Tough Guy Scar" to show off to the ladies when he gets older. He really is quite a trooper, and only cried for less than a minute.

Diablo Dam/Gorge Lake

As a kick off to summer, we went camping this weekend at Diablo. Canoing, camping, and of course Waterfall hunting.

Air Show

We went to an air show this weekend. And let me just say, it "was totally wicked!!" (For those of you who have seen The Incredibles, that will make sense!) It was a lot of fun! Tate and I got to sit in an old World War II B-52. (Mackenzie was away for the weekend with her cousins.) There were acrobatic stunts. There was an airplane that landed on top of a pick-up truck (4th picture. You may have to click on that picture to make it bigger so you can see it better.) The last picture is of the B-52 flying. It was a great show and we all loved it. I'm sure Tate will rub it in to Mackenzie since he wanted to go with her for the weekend, and wasn't allowed to go (girls only!) So this will be his revenge!

Our last recital?

This may be Addie's last recital, as she doesn't want to take ballet anymore -sticking with gymnastics though. The theme of the whole program was fairytales and took place in front of a big castle on stage. Addie's class was the sleeping beauty portion (one class was dressed as frogs -they were so cute). She cried the morning of, not wanting to go, but finally we got her there and she had a good time and did wonderful. She was more than happy after it was over and eager to cooperate for pictures. I'll miss the tutus and recitals, but with 3 brothers she was bound to go the soccer route anyway.

Dandra's Masters Graduation

Went down to Pittsburg for Dandra's graduation, we are all so proud of her for her acomplishments, we stopped at a fun classic car shop and acted like tourists and had the owner take our picture. Captured a couple of fun moments with the kids.

Winter Quarters Visit

Our first Temple trip! We had the opportunity to do baptisms for the dead.what an awesome experience.

Mount St. Helens

We were lucky enough to find the top of Mount St Helens on a semi clear day. It was so beautiful with all the snow and really cool to see it with the smoke still rising out of the crater.

And on such a beautiful day, it was really fun to see the piles of snow packed up.

Memorial Weekend

Multnomah Falls Latourell Falls





We have been wanting to go to the Multnomah Falls in Oregon for Quite a few months, so we decided this was the weekend to do it. When we got there we found it was amazing. We also found several other waterfalls that were so beautiful. We have always hunted waterfalls on our hikes, and I think we found a Gold mine of them in the Columbia River Gorge. We had even more fun going behind 3 sets of falls, and got very wet. Dante was so tired, he didn't want to get out of the car by the third day.
