Celebrating another year in love !

The only dog I've ever met that is camera shy ! However today I cornered her on the porch and with no where to go she could only sit and hope I'd go away.

New Beginnings

It is hard to believe that almost 12 years has gone by already. It seems like only yesterday, my Mackenzie was this size. Tonight we went to New Beginnings in our ward. Mackenzie will be going into young womens next month, so they had all the upcoming young women come to this special program. I sat there wondering where the past 12 years went! She is growing up so fast, and I'm not sure I'm ready for her to be so grown up! She has grown to be such a smart and beautiful and responsible young lady, and we love her so very much!!

Biking are we!!!

I have exciting news!!! Scot & I went for our first bike ride for the year today!!! Yes, it was a tad cold, but that bike has been just sitting in the garage for WAY too long! We didn't get any pictures (that thought came later!) but it was a lot of fun! We only went about 15 miles to some friends house and back home, so the cold wasn't too bad. Not bad enough to stop us from going! We are SO ready for spring!!

Date night

So Scot comes home from work the other day with a box with a dinner invitation on it. I open the box and there is a beautiful new dress and a necklace and earrings! He had made reservations at the Cellar for us. So on Friday, I had my sister fix my hair, and we got all ready to go on our date. I go out the pick-up and there are rose petals all over the seat and the dash, and a rose waiting for me! We had a wonderful dinner at our private table, and had a wonderfully romantic night! The next day, I had a meeting. When I came out to my car, there were rose petals all over the dash and seats; lunch and a Pepsi; a love note; and the picture frame with pictures from our night before in it!! My husband has got to be one of the most romantic men ever!!

We were having a birthday party for my sister one night, and guess who walked in the front door? . . . . Santa Claus himself!!

2008 Christmas

We had a great Christmas! The kids & I were off from school/work for 2 weeks and Scot had a week and a half off of work, so we had a wonderful time at home. The only bad thing was I had an infection in my eye that was miserable, but I got some drops for that and it is much better!! The kids really enjoyed all their gifts and the fun time we all had at home!! We hope you all had as wonderful of a Christmas as we did!!
