Caroling in a one-horse open sleigh?

Do you remember caroling in our one-horse open sleigh? Of course every year we would drop off goodies at peoples houses and bless them with the joyful harmonies of the Hall family. But remember when we went caroling in the blazer with the top off? It was freezing! The icy wind whipped through our hair as we snuggled down deeper into the blankets and closer to the heat vents. I don't know why Tracy and I were so embarassed of the blazer...I think it was more of a game then actual embarassment that started in Elementary school. When Jamie would drive us to school in it. We'd yell "People!" and then duck down as fast as we could. And this night, what could attract more attention, then a family belting out carols as they drive along on a winters night in a convertible blazer, delivering treats to unsuspecting recipients? We may have rolled our frozen eyes, or hid when we saw people, but it is a very warm fond memory for me.

Christmas morning 2003 -

2004 - I was talking on the phone, and taking my babies for a ride in their new double stroller when someone stole my cell phone and purse. He was about my height, a little heavier...he looked to be about a half hour older than me.

Christmas memories

Some have told me they have nothing to post, though I insist, that is the best thing to blog about. I thought it would be fun to share Christmas memories. Memories from our family (Hall), your family, or just plain Christmas memories. Happy, sad, funny, long stories, short quotes, just pictures, whatever. Even just your favorite Christmas decoration from growing up (Mine was that big, gold, musical globe nativity, do you remember it?). Anyway, for those of us whom have terrible memories, hopefully this will spark some rememberance. And if not our own memories, it may help create new Christmas traditions as well as help us get to know each other better.

Wow! This is so-o-o exciting! I can hardly wait for my lunchtime so I can check our blog. Its so great and I hope will help us all feel closer to each other in spite of miles. This is like an early Christmas gift for me to get to read you words and enjoy the pics that have been put on. Dad is still over in Eastern Wa. I think he will be home Thursday sometime.
