YOU'RE INVITED!

As Aaron, Kaden and I became a family at the end of June 2009, we would like to celebrate all of our family at the end of June every year. In other words, we are trying to start a new family tradition. So June 26th, 2010 there will be a family BBQ at our new house and we would love for you to be there! We have parking room for camp trailers, yard space for tents and floor space for sleeping bags. E-mail me at halltracy@live.com for our address. WE"RE HOME!

We have moved! We just bought a house a few miles from our previous address but in a very different area, as you cross the Puget Sound to get to our new area everyone gets more friendly, the traffic slows down and safety goes up. This morning Kaden and I walked around our front pathway so he could practice walking outside in shoes. He loves to look at and point out other people's shoes and play with ours (I love seeing him trying on my shoes:>)) but he isn't so sure about wearing shoes in his own size.

Kaden has taken his first independent steps but would rather crawl or hold our hands and walk . . . and kick. So this morning he got to play soccer outside in the yard for the first time. Aaahhh, it is so nice to have our own space again.

Kaden was busy working on his 10th tooth today, it has been awhile since we've seen that much drool. He is (normally) so much fun, I love being his mama.

Elder Bolander's Return

For all those interested, we heard from Elder Bolander on Christmas day that he has a coming home date for us. He will be arriving home sometime on January 29, 2010. We are excited to welcome him home and look forward to hearing all about his great missionary adventure in Mexico.

Scot's wreck

Scot was in an accident on November 30. He was rear ended (by that HUGE Ryder truck in the first picture) and pushed into a pick-up which was pushed into a car. So there were 4 vehicles involved in this accident. But Scot definitely got the worst of it. The transported him to the emergency room in the ambulance and did a CT Scan on him. Thankfully it all turned out okay. He has whiplash, and has been pretty sore, but it could have been so much worse. I didn't get any photos of the Scot in the hospital, as I was pretty concerned about him at the time and ran out the door without the camera. But you can see the damage to his pick-up. The insurance is going to total it out. It was kind-of sad to see our pick-up all smooshed like that, but it can be replaced. My husband cannot. I am so thankful he is okay!!
