Shelby's Update

Just to let everyone know about the most recent news at our house. Shelby slipped and fell in our laundry room last Saturday night about 10 pm. She had been out with the dog and had wet crocs on, and they don't do well on tile floors. Anyway, she broke her collar bone about an inch from her sternum. (not the usual place) Then, on Monday morning she woke up with a fever, and had the flu. I felt so bad for her, had to have been painful. So, that turned to a cough, and several bloody noses (that was new for us too). But she is much better, and only hurts when she sneezes or gets bumped, etc. Back at school. She isn't allowed to participate in PE for 6 weeks, and 1 of the boys at school carries her back pack to each class. So, that's the current excitement at our house.

Field Of Beans

There is a very short window as the beans start to turn that you can experience their colorful beauty. Lori and I were out touring the landscape on our bikes and pulled over to catch this fields color. I hope we can all feel our Lords infinite love as we see whats all around us.
